Detailed Review of Pro-Pen-G Injectable Penicillin G Procaine

While there are some farmers who abstain from the use of antibiotics altogether, if you are going to use an antibiotic to treat sheep with foot rot or another illness or infection then Pro-Pen-G is a safe and effective choice. Pro-Pen-G contains 300,000 units of Penicillin G Procaine per mL and we like that you can purchase a bottle in several different sizes. This allows you to save money and eliminate waste by ordering the right amount of Pro-Pen-G for the size of your flock, your budget and how much you expect to use.

What we like about Pro-Pen-G is that it's a very affordable and effective antibiotic for sheep and that we never saw any side effects from use. 1 mL should be administered daily for each 100 lbs. of body weight, though we always recommend that you double-check the bottle and that you consult your veterinarian if you have any questions about proper dosages. If you're going to have a bottle of antibiotics on hand, Pro-Pen-G Penicillin from Bimeda is a good choice.
