Our Detailed Review of Serrated Foot Rot Shears from Jeffers®

Serrated Foot Rot Shears Review
There's something to be said for well-intentioned design, but unfortunately the Serrated Foot Rot Shears from Jeffers® don't live up to the functionality their design intended. These foot trimmers are a modified version of their flat-blade Foot Rot Shears and feature a serrated edge on one of the two blades.

Like their un-serrated counterpart the Serrated Hoof Rot Shears feature a traditional design and solid construction. We found the ribbed handles to be comfortable and these shears fit well in our hands (though we feel they're best suited to an individual with large hands and could be difficult for a small child to use). The real flaw in these sheep hoof trimmers was in their functionality. After trimming a few sheep hooves these trimmers quickly dulled and the serrated blade made it more challenging to trim the soft hooves of sheep affected by hoof rot - something the name implies that the product was specifically designed for. While these hoof trimmers are inexpensive, the version without the serrated blade actually costs less and performs better so if money is your chief concern we'd suggest you consider that pair before you purchase the Serrated Foot Rot Shears.
