Review of ValBazen Plastic Sheep Drench Gun

A functional sheep drench gun is a handy tool for regular flock maintenance - particularly administering deworming medication. While smaller tubes of paste or liquid are often preferred for smaller flocks of sheep, large commercial flocks of sheep find a sheep drench gun to be useful for quickly and efficiently administering de-worming medication or other oral treatments while sheep are making their way through a handling system.

The ValBazen Sheep Drench Gun is a good entry-level drench gun. While we normally recommend against plastic drench guns (they don't hold up quite as well over time), at under $20, the Valbazen Sheep Drench Gun is a cost effective measure for mid-sized farmers or for those who would like to try using a drench gun on their flock without spending more for a metal, more expensive gun.

One advantage of this plastic sheep drench gun is that it is lightweight. We found it to be comfortable to use and the orange/red handle on the product we received was a quality we appreciated as it's easy to quickly locate it if you set it down while working on your flock.
